Edgar Mosa is a New York-based jeweler and artist. He was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, where he began his training as a goldsmith’s apprentice at age 14.
He went on to study at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam before earning an MFA in metalsmithing at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.
His work is known for its craft, inventive forms, and wit.
Edgar creates each piece by hand, mostly at his kitchen jewelry bench, in solid gold and sterling silver.
Edgar has had solo shows of his work in New York, Copenhagen and Lisbon. He has been featured in publications like the New York Times, Wallpaper, Galerie Magazine, Frieze Week, and GAYLETTER.
In 2023, Edgar opened his first store at 75 East Broadway in downtown Manhattan.
